The difference between editing a thousand products and editing one product a thousand times.

Bulk editing is changing a field across many products in one operation, driven by a rule — “reduce price by 20% and round to .99” — rather than by typing a value into each product.
Tools differ mostly in how expressive each of these three is. A spreadsheet has unlimited operations and no timing; Shopify’s native editor has manual operations and no timing; a bulk editing app aims to be reasonable at all three.
Almost every bulk editing failure is a selection failure: the rule was fine, but it hit more products than intended. That is why previewing the match list matters more than any other step, and why an undo that restores previous values is the feature to check first.
Bulk Product Edit by MITS edits this field in bulk across a filtered part of your catalog, with a log and a one-click revert.
